I do agree with you that WordPress makes creating home business web sites a breeze. And the format is already search engine friendly!

When I started I never knew anything about computers. But in matter of months I was able learn html and build my first website manually coding the html. But today I use wordpress blog which is much easier to create websites. You don’t really need to know anything about html. However, must say my knowledge of html from those days is a plus for me since I can easily tweak the codes to get what I want.

I read your about me page and I think we have traveled the same path!
HTML code scared the wits out of me at first…I was afraid I would blow up the computer or something..lol.

The key for learning this techie stuff is to try using just a little at a time. And as our comfort level increases, try a little more.

Like you, whenever I want to learn something I just go in search of it. I found a website probably about three years ago now that taught me all about HTML coding and it’s still bookmarked to this day. I will revert back to it when I want to learn something and it really helps make this a little easier.
